Equipment Checklist

Hockey players can wear their CSA approved hockey equipment. Kidney pads are required, arm guards are highly recommended.
Player Equipment
- Shoulder Pads: One piece adjustable pad which offers protection for shoulders and arms
- Gloves: Box lacrosse gloves offer excellent protection.
- Elbow Pads and Arm/Slash Guards: When using hockey shoulder pads, elbow pads and/or arm/slash guards provide necessary additional protection.
- Helmet and Cage: Helmet and mask must be CSA approved for hockey or NOCSAE approved for lacrosse with chin strap.
- Athletic Supporter & Cup or Jill Strap
- Kidney Pads
- Lacrosse Stick - Paperweight to Peewee stick length must be 34" to 46" - Bantam/Senior stick length is 40" to 46"
- Mouth Guard - Moldable mouth guard for sports use
Goalie Equipment
- Uppers: Offers protection for shoulders and arms.
- Goalie Gloves: Field/Box lacrosse gloves offer excellent protection.
- Goalie Pants: Provide waist and thigh protection
- Helmet, Mask and Throat Guard: Helmet and mask must be CSA approved for hockey or NOCSAE approved for lacrosse with chin strap. A throat guard attaches to the mask for extra protection for the throat & neck
- Athletic Supporter & Cup or Jill Strap
- Leg Guards: Made of hard plastic and strap to leg, covering the ankle and top of foot
- Mouth Guard - Moldable mouth guard for sports use
U5/U7 Required Equipment
- Helmet with cage (hockey helmets with a box lacrosse or hockey cage)
- Protective gloves (box lacrosse, or hockey style)
- Lacrosse stick
- Running shoes
- Shorts & Tshirt
- Water bottle
For players U9 and above, choose a pinnie size by comparing the chest width in the document below to a hockey jersey or similar garment that fits over shoulder pads. We'll base our order on the majority of responses, so don't worry if your player doesn’t have shoulder pads yet.
